Smoking Accessories
Some popular smoking accessories include matches, cigarette
cases, cigarette holders, lighters, ashtrays and pipes, among other
things. Pipes are commonly collected among pipe smokers, and they can
be made from a large variety of materials including glass, wood, bone
and metal. Glass pipes are made by glass blowers of various abilities
and are often colorfully decorated and have intricate designs. Glass
pipes are very durable and beautiful, but are preferred more by marijuana
smokers than tobacco smokers. Tobacco smokers often prefer intricately
carved wood and bone pipes that represent a relaxing and noble smoke.
Metal pipes are very cheap, but heat up quickly and have a metallic
taste that is undesirable making them the least popular.
Other smoking accessories can help aid rolling cigarettes by hand.
Small special devices allow tobacco to be inserted into them, then it
is compressed and a paper is inserted. A few movements later and the
tobacco is rolled into a consistent cigarette that is ready to smoke.
Filters can be inserted into the machine during the rolling process
as well, making it just like a pre-manufactured cigarette. Some rolling
papers have a wire in them that makes them easier to hold as they burn
down. Hand-rolled cigarettes are often kept in reusable cigarette cases
that come in many different styles, and are usually a little bit slimmer
than a regular pack of cigarettes, but can hold the same amount.
Matches and lighters are two of the most commonly used smoking accessories.
Matches can be found in many places, restaurants, bars, coffee shops,
car dealerships and many other places. They are so widely available
because they are a popular way of advertising for many businesses. Every
time a match is pulled out the advertisement is visible. Lighters are
less disposable than matches, and many people collect them as well.
Refillable lighters come in many designs and can even have different
flames for lighting different smoking devices.
